The Speaker of Zamfara House of Assembly, Nasiru Magarya on Saturday received the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign flag for his second term bid.
Magarya, representing Zurmi West Constituency in the state assembly is seeking re-election under the platform of the party.
Chairman of the state APC gubernatorial campaign council and former governor of the state, Abdulaziz Yari presented the campaign flags to the speaker.
Magarya and other APC candidates from the area were given the flags at the governorship campaign rally in Zurmi town, Zurmi local government area of the state.
Yari urged the APC stakeholders and party loyalists to work for the total victory of the party in the 2023 general elections.
He urged APC supporters in the state to obtain their permanent voter cards to exercise their constitutional rights during the elections.
In his remarks, Gov. Bello Muhammad urged the electorate in the state to vote for APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.
Muhammad promised to construct the College of Nursing Sciences in Zurmi town, Zurmi local government area of the state.
The governor had on Friday assented to the law establishing the College of Nursing Science, Zurmi, also home to Sadiya Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
He promised to continue with other meaningful developmental projects in the area.
The rally was attended by the former governors, deputy governors, and National and state assembly members among other APC stakeholders in the state.
In his remarks, the speaker assured that the APC stakeholders from the area would work for the victory of the party in the 2023 general elections.
