The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is a meeting point for “NATIONS”, not sub-nationals, to outline their positions on global issues. Niger state going to New York in USA to host a certain “sideline show” is nothing but an overkill or just a waste of resources time and energy.

Already, Nigeria has sent its Vice President, Kashim Shettima, to articulate its position. We all know KSM is competent enough to do that.

What will this so called “side talk” add to the man in Agwara or kataeregi or in Sahon Rami or even in Kutirko or Kutigi?

What the people need are simple; Health, Education, Infrastructure and Jobs.

In discussing what is good for Niger state you line up 10 people and only 3 are Nigerlites? Haba!

The Problem of Niger state is within Niger and can be solved within Niger state by competent Nigerlites who are in abundant supply.

Which of the favours of the lord does Niger lack? None!

President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has released more than enough resources to all states, use it effectively and efficiently and you won’t need any side show at a UNGA that is meant for Nations to discuss Global issues and not some minor sub-national show.

Na UNGA go pay pensioners?

Na UNGA go give fertilizer?

Na UNGA go fix Mokwa Hospital?

Na UNGA go fix kpagunku road?

Abeg!
