At least 21 people died in India’s eastern state of Bihar in incidents of lightning amid rains over the past 24 hours. The 36 states of the federation grew their combined Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) by N360 billion in two years. They grew the IGR from N1.31 trillion in 2019 to N1.67 trillion in 2021. The Debt Management Office (DMO) said Nigeria’s total public debt stock, which was N41.60 trillion ($100.07 billion) in March rose to N42.84 trillion ($103.31 billion) by June.
