The Zamfara chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the party’s chairman of Bukkuyum local government area of the state, Shehu Buda-Nasarawa over alleged anti-party activities.
The party’s leadership in the state also approved the appointment of Tapa Nasarawa as new APC interim Chairman in the LGA.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Saturday by the state APC Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris.
“This is to inform the general public the APC Bukkuyum local government chairman, Shehu-Buda Nasarawa has been suspended.
“The State Executive Committee of the party under the leadership of Tukur Danfulani has approved the appointment of Tafa Nasarawa as the APC interim Chairman of the area.
“The appointment takes immediate effect, and the former chairman is hereby directed to hand over all party properties in his possession to the interim chairman pending the outcome of ongoing investigation against him.”
