The State Working Committee (SWC) of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sokoto State Council, has approved the constitution of a three-member Appeals Committee comprising some of the past leaders of the Council.
A statement by the Chairman of the Council, Dalhatu Abdullahi Safiyal-Magori on Monday said, the committee is tasked with addressing issues that may arise during the state’s 2024 Triennial Delegate Congress, scheduled for December 21, 2024.
The members of the Appellate Committee are:

According to the statement, each of the distinguished members has previously served as Chairman of the NUJ Sokoto State Council at different times.
