The Kurebe Unity and Development Forum (KUDFO) has commended Niger state Commissioner for Works and Transport, Hadiza Kuta for supporting vulnerable communities in Shiroro local government area.

This was contained in a statement by the information office of the local government, Abubakar Abdullahi, made available to newsmen on Sunday.

In collaboration with the Coalition of Shiroro Associations (COSA), Kuta extended the assistance to the women in each of the wards of the local government area.

The support included ₦20,000 and relief materials to the areas affected by insecurity.

The director of planning and strategy of COSA, Victor Ayuba, handed over the financial aid to the Secretary General, KUDFO, Abubakar Abdullahi, for equal and efficient distribution to the victims.

Responding, Abdullahi commended Kuta for the gesture.

“On behalf of Kushaka/Kurebe Ward Community, the honourable commissioner, accept our profound gratitude for touching the lives of the less privilege. We will ensure that your support gets to those intended,”

“The support rendered by the commissioner will bring positive transformation to the lives of the affected persons, fostering resilience and empowering them to overcome challenges,” Abdullahi added.

Acknowledging the collaborative efforts that made the initiative possible, Abdullahi also extended appreciation to COSA for their continued efforts in identifying and supporting individuals that are in need.

“This commendable initiative reflects the commitment of the Commissioner, COSA, and KUDFO to uplift and support the less privileged. Their collaborative efforts serve as an inspiring example of compassion and unity,” Abdullahi further said.

A beneficiary from Kushaka/Kurebe Ward, Usaina Ahmad conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to the honourable Commissioner.

“May her generosity be blessed, and may she continue to make positive impact on those in need,” Usaina said.
