The people of Tukur-Tukur community in Zaria have expressed deep appreciation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, for his continued support and developmental initiatives that have positively impacted their lives.

In a statement delivered to the press in Abuja, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, a respected community leader, conveyed the community’s gratitude and praised Speaker Abbas for his tangible contributions to improving infrastructure, education, and overall living standards in the area.

“Speaker Abbas has shown what it means to be a true son of the soil,” Suleiman said, emphasizing the Speaker’s connection to the people and his consistent efforts to uplift the community.

He reminded the Speaker of his promise to provide new electricity transformers to replace the obsolete and malfunctioning units in Tukur-Tukur, describing the gesture as a critical step towards improving power supply and boosting local economic activities.

Suleiman highlighted that the Speaker’s contributions are not just symbolic but have translated into real change on the ground.

“This connection is reflected in the numerous initiatives and largesse that have been shared with the community, ranging from educational support to infrastructure development. These efforts have not only addressed immediate needs but have also laid the groundwork for sustainable growth and empowerment,” he stated.

He described Abbas as a rare politician whose leadership and dedication to the people of Northern Nigeria and the country at large are unmatched.

“Abbas is a rare politician whose leadership, sacrifice, statesmanship, patriotism, and unwavering commitment to the interests of the people of Northern Nigeria—and indeed all Nigerians—has no parallel in the nation,” Suleiman noted.

He called on the people of Zaria and Kaduna State to emulate the values Speaker Abbas represents, describing him as a mentor and role model for the youth.

“To the youth, Abbas is a mentor, a guardian, a living history, and an embodiment of all the exemplary qualities young Northerners should strive to achieve,” Suleiman said.

The community’s appreciation underscores the growing impact of Speaker Abbas’s leadership in his constituency and highlights the critical role local representation plays in grassroots development.
