Former Sokoto State Governor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, on Thursday paid a condolence visit to Kano over the death of two prominent figures — Aminu Alhassan Dantata and Ado Ya’u K/Mata.
Wamakko described the passing of Dantata, a respected businessman and elder statesman, as “a great loss to his family and the nation,” noting his immense contributions to Nigeria’s development and his role in mentoring generations of leaders.
At the Dantata residence, the family, led by Tajuddeen Alhassan Dantata, expressed gratitude for the visit and prayed for God’s blessings on the senator and his delegation.
Wamakko also visited the family of the late Ado Ya’u K/Mata to offer condolences, praying that Allah grant both deceased Aljannatul Firdaus and comfort to their families.
The senator was accompanied by Umar Farouk, House of Representatives member Ahmad Kalambaina (Kware/Wamakko Federal Constituency), Musa S. Adar, and other associates.
