“I’ll represent my constituents well” – Sani-Bello

The Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly, and immediate past governor of Niger State, Sen. Abubakar Sani Bello has promised to give his best in the red chambers for his constituency and the state.

Sen. Sani Bello stayed this at a reception organized in his honour shortly after the inauguration of the 10 National Assembly in Abuja.

He assured that he will represent the cause of his people at the centre as well as involve stakeholders of his constituency in carrying out legislative functions.

“Definitely as a Senator representing Niger North, I will do my best to give them the good representation they deserve.

“We will engage stakeholders from time to time to understand their feelings, their difficulties and how we can help at the centre.

The former governor of Niger State who won a landslide victory to be elected Senator was overwhelmed with the solidarity shown him.

He appreciated all those that made it to the reception and assured them of quality representation.

The Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon Mohammed Umaru Bago said that he was confident that Sen Sani Bello will give good representation at the red chamber.

Governor Umaru Bago assured that the government will work together with him as their doors were open to receive all advice and contributions he will make.

“I want to wish him well, I want him to know that we have his back and as a people and government our doors are open, we welcome all kinds of advices from him and I will work together with him”, he assured.

He urged the Senator to avail himself and be accessible to members of his constituency.

Other speakers at the event who share the moment of joy with Sen Sani Bello included his wife, Dr Amina Abubakar Bello, former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Yayaha Kuta Muhammad, immediate past Chief of Staff to the former Governor, Alh. Ibrahim Balarabe, and some immediate past cabinet members, as well as people of his constituency expressed optimism that the new lawmaker will excel as a parliamentarian.
