Niger: Former CPS bags Africa Iconic Award

Former Chief Press Secretary (CPS), to the immediate past Governor of Niger State, Mrs. Mary Noel-Berje has bagged an award as  the Outstanding African Iconic Spokeswoman of the Year.

The event, organised by the founder Face of Democracy Nigeria, FDN, Project, was held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

Mrs. Noel-Berje expressed her joy for the award explained that “it was not an easy task working with men”pointing out that it has made her stronger.”

The broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), thanked the former Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, for providing the platform to serve.

She also appreciated her husband, Mr. Noel Berje and other family members for all the support they gave her in the course of her duties.

Mrs Noel-Berje, is on the board of  a non-governmental organisation, AYE-WOSAI Global Foundation which she initiated and is aimed at helping the vulnerable women and the girl child, dedicated the award to God, her family and all women.
